Announcement

Dear Parents/Carers,

As we approach the winter months, we need to ensure we are prepared as a school for any bad weather.

Possible School Closures:

We will make every effort to stay open but in the event of possibly school closure when there is heavy snow fall, and we have to close the school, we will contact parents via email between 6.30-7.00am.

Please DO NOT send your child to school until you have heard from us to confirm it is open (this is only when there is heavy snow).

Lateness on these days will not be recorded.

We will only close the school in bad weather for one of the following reasons:

• Too few staff can get in. This will be because transport isn't running or roads are closed.
• Safety conditions around the school
• The school has no heating or lighting.

We may also operate at a reduced timetable - again, you will be notified of this in the morning.

If school is closed, work will be available on TEAMS.

On snow days, the breakfast club will NOT be open as we will not be able to guarantee all the catering staff will be able to get in on those days.
