Maths Department gets their sums right

The Maths Department at Thomas More Catholic School has just achieved its best GCSE results so far and it’s only January.

77% of Year 11 students have already banked A* – C grades at GCSE by taking the exam early.

Congratulations to those hard working and committed students who have benefitted from the excellent teaching in the Maths Department.

The outstanding grades have been achieved through extra revision classes, focused booster lessons on Saturday mornings and after school. The students regularly use FRONTER to access revision material and on-line video tutorials, as well as accessing the website ‘My Maths’.

The Department set clear targets for each student and through a personalised curriculum, every student is able to achieve the best.

Congratulations to all those students and well done to the Maths Department for all their hard work in enabling them to succeed.
